Student Leadership Program
Our Student Leadership Program helps selected students develop leadership potential and build an engaging Griffith community.
As part of the program, participants attend a free two-day workshop (valued at over $300) and must undertake at least three leadership activities within a year. Participants also have the opportunity to attend additional leadership-related workshops during the year.
At the end of program, participants are invited to a celebration and are awarded a certificate recognising their contribution to the Griffith community.
Expressions of Interest for the program are sought in March each year, with training commencing in June.
If you are a current leader remember to complete your online activity reflection form after completing each volunteer activity.
Student Partners are employed across Griffith campuses for paid casual work.
They're students who are recruited, trained and supported by the Welfare and Student Liaison Office, and work on a variety of jobs such as facilitating workshops, running promotional stalls, and helping new students.
Student Partners help Student Services and other elements connect with students, while gaining valuable skill development and work experience for graduate employability.
If you wish to apply for a Student Partner position, we advertise in July to fill positions for the following year.
