Our Uni-Reach program encourages the higher education ambitions of students at partner high schools in areas with limited transition into university study.
Career Outreach Program
The Careers Outreach Program was developed to raise tertiary awareness and broaden the career aspirations of students and is integral to Griffith’s commitment to widening tertiary participation in under-represented groups, through effective partnerships with schools and local communities.
Maori and Pacific Islander Outreach
Delivered to Uni-Reach high schools with a large population of Pasifika students, our LEAD program helps demystify university, increase confidence and encourage teamwork.
We hold outreach activities with partnering TAFEs, community colleges, VET providers and community service organisations to raise higher-education aspirations of adult learners. We also help adult learners navigate pathways to university and transition smoothly into tertiary study.
Parents and families
Parents, partners, caregivers and adult mentors have a powerful role in encouraging and supporting their loved ones to aspire and succeed at university.
We collaborate with a number of organisations to forge partnerships that benefit students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This includes state-based partnerships, local community partnerships and working with low-income students, students from regional and remote backgrounds and students who are in out-of-home care.
