We have a number of programs which may assist new LGBTIQ students settle into university.
Uni-Key is a free program to help eligible first-year students make a smooth transition to university. The program’s pre-orientation covers information on academic, personal and financial support. Throughout the year, Uni-Key students attend weekly group mentoring sessions with high-achieving third-year students studying the same disciplines.
LGBTIQ coffee catch-ups
Free coffee and fun. Throughout the semester on various campuses students who identify as LGBTIQ or Allies can get together over coffee in a relaxed and safe space to make friends, get support and socialise. For more information talk to our Student Equity Programs Officer Kristy Apps.
