Applications for the weekend hack-a-thon are now closed

What the hack?


Thank you all for your great ideas. They are now currently being judged. Are you interested in turning those ideas into something real? Why not come join us for 30 hours of hacking fun. All current Griffith students are welcome to register. You can register as a group with 3 or 4 members. For individual and pair registrations, you will be pre-allocated to a team. You do not have to know coding to enter as other roles may be needed such as graphic designers.

Date: 29-30 April 2017
Time: 9am on the 29 April. Judging at 4pm on the 30 April.
Location: Library (G10), Griffith Gold Coast campus.

Note: You must bring your own device for the event.

Prizes


You will have the opportunity to develop and showcase your web/mobile application to the judges based on the top 5 app idea from the previous competition.

  • $2000 for the winning team of the Hack-a-thon
  • $1000 for the runner-up team of the Hack-a-thon
  • $500 for best UI design
