For email: you may also click the Staff Email login link from the staff portal and login using your Griffith ID (sNumber) and password.

Outlook is used to access email and incorporates the management of information including emails, calendar and contacts all in one place.

You can create multiple calendars, link to other people's calendars, and share your calendar with other people.

  • The Academic Calendar is updated annually and contains semester information and important study dates for the academic year.

Managing your storage is now easier with a suite of online storage options. Keep your Griffith data safe and access it anywhere and from any device.

SharePoint is a cloud-based service that helps organisations share and collaborate with colleagues, partners and customers. With SharePoint, you can access internal sites, documents, and other information from anywhere—at the office, at home, or from a mobile device.

Install email and Office 365

The University provides support for both the online version of Office 365 and its associated desktop applications. Visit self-help resources in the Productivity Hub or Microsoft support.

You can also head to the App Store to download Outlook and 365 apps for free.

  • official Microsoft apps are the recommended and secure method of accessing content on mobile devices
  • in accordance with University security policy, POP or  IMAP access has been disabled by default

COMING 2020: MIGRATION OF SHAREPOINT 2013 TO SHAREPOINT ONLINE

Since successfully migrating Griffith email accounts to Office 365, the University is working on moving other services to O365 including SharePoint, Google Drive and network-shared drives.

The SharePoint Migration project is underway and will run between February and December 2020.

The migration of H: and Y: Drives, network-shared drives and Google Drive will be reviewed for migration at a later date—post 2020.

What's happening?

  • the project team will contact site owners to confirm what sites will be migrating to O365 and when
  • site owners will need to inform their site users of the migration
  • site owners will need to test the site after content has migrated

LEAVING GRIFFITH?

Griffith staff have access to staff email and the Microsoft 365 suite for the duration of employment. Access is automatically removed effective from the termination date.

It is not possible to have interim access beyond the term of employment.
