Our students, staff and local communities have the chance to use our world-class sporting and fitness facilities, as well as join our social teams and sports clubs. We also have a wide range of sporting events and competitions you can get involved in as a student, whether you're looking to compete for fun or represent the university.

Social sport

Our social sport competitions are hosted on campus and are open to all. Choose from sports such as basketball, netball, soccer, touch football, volleyball and more. You can enter as a full team or as an individual and we'll find you a team.

Represent Griffith

If you are a current Griffith student, you can sign up to represent the University in one of our many inter-varsity events. These include University Games, University Championships, snow sports and more. These tournaments are held across Australia and there are more than 30 sports to choose from.

With more than 20 different sport clubs, we have something for everyone. We enter our teams in social and external competitions, as well as one-off events. If you are looking to make friends with similar interests and play your chosen sport regularly, our sport clubs are for you.

Kids Sport Program

Griffith Sport Active Kids is a new sport program designed to keep kids off the couch these school holidays. This program makes keeping active fun and incorporates a variety of ball, field racquet and pool activities.
