PhD in Chemistry
Research Fellow and Full Member, QMNC
Ziyang received his PhD in Chemistry from the Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2009. He worked with synthesis and assembly of nanocrystals toward functional materials under the supervision of Prof Yadong Li. In 2008, he moved to University of California, Berkeley and join Prof. Peidog Yang’s group. He mainly focused his research on synthesis of semiconductor nanowires and their application in energy conversion. Now he is a Research Fellow in QMNC and plans to develop efficient devices for artificial synthesis.
- Artificial synthesis based on nanomaterials
- Photovoltaic devices
- Carbon dioxide conversion and fixation
