The UniRecruit Business Scholarship has been established to support students who are experiencing financial hardship whilst undertaking their Griffith university degree.

The scholarship is for current students who have completed a minimum of 40CP at Griffith University in a degree hosted by the Griffith Business School.

Maximum value is $5,000, payable in instalments.

Can I apply?

To be eligible you must:

  • be an Australian Citizen, or Permanent Resident
  • be enrolled in full-time study at Griffith University in an undergraduate degree hosted by the Griffith Business School (GBS)
  • have completed a minimum of 40 credit points at Griffith University in their GBS hosted degree
  • have a minimum GPA 4.0 or above
  • not be a recipient of other scholarship funding from any other source - Griffith funding or external funding.

Maximum value is $5,000, payable in installments. Payments of $2,500 are payable for each full-time enroll trimester in which all conditions are met, up to the maximum value of the scholarship.

Payments are made up to six weeks after the Census Date subject to maintaining ongoing eligibility requirements.

Therefore, the purpose of the UniRecruit Business Scholarship is to support a student facing financial hardship studying a business degree at Griffith University.

To remain eligible for the scholarship, you will be required to:

  • remaining enrolled as a full-time student in an approved undergraduate program hosted by GBS
  • maintain a minimum GPA 4.0
  • not hold another scholarship

The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, it is at the discretion of the Scholarship Selection Committee to withhold the trimester installment or terminate the scholarship. The recipient must show cause to the Scholarships Office why the scholarship should not be cancelled.

The scholarship recipient may take leave of absence in accordance with University policy. Scholarship benefits are suspended for the period of leave of absence.

The scholarship recipient must not defer for more than one trimester. Payments will be suspended for the trimester that the student defers, however, will resume once the student returns to full-time study.

The recipient may be invited to meet with the donor and have their image featured in marketing materials to promote the Scholarship.

Applications, including any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.
