The BusinessPLUS Future Leaders Scholarship is designed to support continuing students who have experienced financial hardship and/or educational disadvantage that has impacted their ability to achieve their full potential.

Can I apply?

To be eligible you must:

  • be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or hold a Humanitarian Visa
  • be enrolled at Griffith University in an undergraduate Griffith Business School degree* - students must have completed at least 40CP with the Griffith business School
  • not be in receipt of any other scholarship funding

(*excludes Honours level programs.)

  • Provide Centrelink statements or other document demonstrating financial hardship.

Value

Maximum value is $2,500, payable in instalments. Payments of $1,250 are payable for each full-time enrolled trimester in which all conditions are met, up to the maximum value of the scholarship.

Payments are made up to six weeks after the Census Date subject to maintaining ongoing terms and conditions.

The BusinessPLUS Future Leaders Scholarship is designed to support continuing students who have experienced financial hardship and/or educational disadvantage that has impacted their ability to achieve their full potential.

Payment is made, after census, on confirmation that you are enrolled at Griffith University and still meet eligibility requirements.

To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients will be required to:

  • maintain a minimum GPA (each Trimester) of 5 or above for the duration of the Scholarship benefit
  • remain an undergraduate student of the Griffith Business School for the duration of their studies

The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, it is at the discretion of the Griffith Business School Scholarship Selection Committee to withhold the trimester instalment, or terminate the scholarship.

Applications, including any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.
