Manager, Research Development
Since completing a PhD in the biology of Antarctic krill and a postdoctoral fellowship at France's Université de la Méditerranée, Stuart has amassed 15 years experience in the development, management and funding of Government and University research in support of policy aims, community impact and commercial outcomes.
He has worked across diverse areas including terrestrial zoology, antarctic and marine biology, oceanography, mining remediation, biodiscovery, biodiversity and conservation, air quality, food safety, drug discovery & translational research. His most recent role was managing and supporting a statewide consortium of medical translational R&D facilities.
Stuart manages the Research Development team in their efforts to identify and develop large-scale, multidisciplinary, collaborative research initiatives to increase Griffith's research income, reputation and impact.
