Sam is a dedicated advocate and leader for collective action on sustainable development and climate change. Since the mid 2000’s he has worked in over 10 countries throughout the Asia Pacific region, supporting development banks, aid programs, governments, industries and communities to design and deliver sustainable development and climate change related measures. Domestically, Sam has led and been a trusted advisor on local, state and national climate action initiatives, which included law reform, institutional change and policy design. He is Head of Practice for Climate Action at Griffith University and Non-executive Director of international development NGO Live and Learn.
