COVID-19 Update - Research Degree Applications Open
If you're interested in starting a PhD or research degree at Griffith University, you can apply now for consideration (both admission and scholarship) to commence your study in the next available intake.
In this evolving situation, applicants who are not based in Australia and are impacted by travel restrictions can apply for admission now and can either defer their commencement or commence offshore. Applicants not based in Australia can only apply for scholarship in 2021 Continuous Scholarship Round where they are able to commence offshore.
APPLY ANYTIME - 2021 CONTINUOUS SCHOLARSHIP ROUND
First time, new applicants can apply for scholarship at Griffith University in the Continuous Scholarship Round at any time.
Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis with scholarships awarded to high quality applicants throughout the year. This includes applicants from Australian institutions graduating in trimester / semester 1 who wish to commence in trimester 2.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to impact on the ability of candidates to commence their research project on campus, temporary changes to the scholarship application requirements for applicants who are not based in Australia are in place. Refer to the COVID-19 banner above for information.
Applicants should refer to our FAQs page for more information on applying for a scholarship.
