Innovative music research for the 21st Century
The Queensland Conservatorium Research Centre (QCRC) was established in 2003 as one of Griffith University’s 30 innovative research centres. In 2021, we joined the Creative Arts Research Institute to broaden our reach and expand our engagement with other research disciplines.
QCRC is a vibrant hub for innovative music research, with 28 established and emerging researchers who are involved in more than 40 complementary and synergetic research projects at any one time.
Through its focus on cultural diversity and sustainability in the Asia–Pacific region, QCRC has become a flagship centre for pioneering scholarship and creative practice.
