Using myPrint

How to access myPrint

Access myPrint at https://myprint.griffith.edu.au >login using your Griffith username (sNumber) and Single Sign-On password

NOTE: You need to be on the Griffith University network (not Eduroam) or connected using Griffith's VPN

How to setup and reset your PIN

Before using myPrint for the first time you need to set up your printing PIN. Follow steps to set your PIN for first time use or reset if you have forgotten it.

1. Login into the myPrint portal at https://myprint.griffith.edu.au > click Change Details.

2. Enter your New PIN > Verify new PIN > click Change PIN.

* PIN must be numerical and minimum of 4 digits.

3. A message confirming that your PIN has been successfully updated will display.

4. Click Logout to exit the myPrint Portal.

NOTE: Changes to your PIN may take up to five minutes to be applied.

How to top up your account:

To add credit to your account, you will need to login to the myPrint portal and add credit using either a MasterCard or Visa credit card.

1. Login to the myPrint portal at https://myprint.griffith.edu.au > click Add Credit.

2. Select Amount to add from drop down menu > click Add value.

3. Enter your Billing Information and Payment Details > click Pay.

* Note fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

4. A Transaction Receipt screen will show.  You will also be emailed a receipt.

5. Your new balance will show on the Summary screen.

6. Click Logout to exit the myPrint Portal.

How to transfer funds to another account:

You are able to transfer fund from your myPrint account to another account.

1. Login to the myPrint portal at https://myprint.griffith.edu.au > click Transfers.

2. Enter Amount (must be lower than Available credit), the users sNumber in the Transfer to user field and any Comments > click Transfer.

3. A message will appear a the top of the screen confirming if the transfer has been successfully applied.

4. Your updated balance will be reflected on the Summary screen.

6. Click Logout to exit the myPrint Portal.

How to top up your balance using cash (Red Kiosk):

You are able to top up your printing balance using cash at the Red Kiosks located on campus.  The kiosks only accept cash and have no credit/debit card facilities.

1. From the kiosk touch screen > enter sNumber into login name > click OK.

2. Enter MyPrint PIN into Password > click OK.

3. Click Recharge > insert notes or coins as required.

NOTE: The kiosk does not give change.

4. Inserted amount will show on the screen and your new credit balance will show in the top left corner.

6.  Logout.

How to check your balance:

You can check your available balance by either logging into myPrint or on the Red Kiosk.

myPrint

1. Login to the myPrint portal at https://myprint.griffith.edu.au Your balance will be displayed on the Summary screen.

2. Click Logout to exit the myPrint portal.

Red Kiosk

1. Login to the Red Kiosk with your sNumber and PIN. Available Credit is shown in the top right corner.

2. Logout.

Using Griffith Printers

Print a job Scan Copy

How to release print job:

Once you have sent your print job to your MyPrint queue, you will need to release the job from the printer.

1. On the printer > enter your sNumber and MyPrint PIN > press Login.

2. Select the checkbox next to the jobs you want to print (individual or all) > press Print.

3. Press Logout to exit.

How to scan:

To scan documents using the printer, follow the steps below.

1. On the printer > enter your sNumber and MyPrint PIN > press Login.

2. Select Scan.

3. Place document/s on the left hand side of the glass, or through the document feeder on top.

4. The scanned file will be automatically sent to your email address.  You can update the File Name and Attachment Name by selecting it.

5. To update the default scan settings (for example colour, file type, orientation etc.), press Settings.

6. Press Start Scanning.

7. Press Logout when finished.

How to copy:

To copy documents using the printer, follow the steps below.

1. On the printer> enter your sNumber and MyPrint PIN > press Login.

2. Select Device functions.

3. From Other Functions screen > select Copy.

4. Place document/s on the left hand side of the glass, or through the document feeder on top.

5. To change copy settings (for example colour, quantity, 2 sided etc), click required option and update as necessary.

6. Press Start.

7. Press Logout when finished.
