Withdrawing from a unit
If you wish to withdraw from your studies in a particular unit, you will no longer submit a request form to us.
You will now need to withdraw via Open Universities Australia.
- Please visit, Withdrawing - Open Universities Australia
- Complete the online enquiry form through your log-in to My OUA. If you do not know your log-in details please contact OUA on 1300 36 36 52.
Withdrawal from any unit after the end of Week 6 will result in a grade of WF. Non-completion of units without written confirmation of a withdrawal will result in a grade of Fail.
To withdraw after the end of Week 6 without academic or financial penalty you may apply for Special Circumstances. This process can be done through Open Universities Australia via Special circumstances.
Commonwealth supported students
If you are a Commonwealth supported student (including HECS-HELP), you will need to apply to withdraw under Special Circumstances directly with Griffith University.
