Creating sustained improvements for neuroimmunology and emerging diseases

The National Centre for Neuroimmunology and Emerging Diseases is a world-class research facility focusing on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Long Haul COVID.

Our national and international reputation has been built on promoting patient engagement in research through understanding the pathophysiology of ME/CFS, discovering diagnostic testing and establishing effective pharmacotherapeutics in laboratory models. Our aim is to translate our research to improve patient outcomes in the area of preventative medicine, social and clinical care, and public health.
