There is a wide range of ways you can do Community Internship 3002LFC.
You could do a project on-campus - such as organise Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, for example, to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
You may already have a volunteering activity and you can use that as the internship in this course.
The Service Learning office presently has over 450 different community placements on offer. Once you complete the registration (separate to enrolment) for this course you will be sent the full list of placements from which to choose.
The Internship may end up being a "position" or "role" within a community organisation; it could be a particular "activity" or "project" that you complete at or for a community organisation; it could be a research project. You may work in the office of a community organisation or you may deal directly with clients of the community organisation.
