Service Learning Research and Publications
The Service Learning Unit researchers are committed to developing and supporting research that investigates Service Learning and promotes a deeper understanding of complex social justice issues. Through our research, we champion inclusion, equity and diversity to deliver the same opportunity to all. From first peoples to people of all abilities we recognise lived experience as expertise and incorporate their experience and knowledge, and different ways of knowing and being in our research, Work-Integrated Learning programs and innovative initiatives. The team is also committed to supporting early-career PhD candidate researchers by engaging them as research assistants and crediting their RA work as authors on the Unit research publications. This approach helps in some small way to support their careers and build their body of publications.
