How do I...?
From navigating PebblePad to submitting for assessment - scroll down the page to find support videos and guides relevant to your needs.
1. LOGGING INTO AND NAVIGATING PEBBLEPAD
PebblePad is a Personal Learning Environment consisting of two main tools: Pebble+ and ATLAS. There is no special account setup required for Griffith Staff and Students in PebblePad - you'll be able to log in using your sNumber and password. Do not create a trial account - this is not the same as your Griffith account.
2. CREATING ASSETS
An asset is anything created or uploaded to Pebble+. Assets are generally records of learning, achievements or goals and can be targeted toward a particular purpose (eg. employment portfolio, creative portfolio, internship reflections/journals). The following instructions will provide details on how to create some common assets.
3. CREATING RESOURCES
Resources are fillable template pages or collections of templates (workbooks) created for a specific learning task. Templates and workbooks are generally created by teaching staff and made available to students (via ATLAS) to complete over time to record their development and achievements, however, students are also able to create resources in PebblePad. There are a number of generic templates available and ready to go in the Resource Store!
4. SHARING AND COLLABORATION
You can share assets that you've created in PebblePad with other users, publicly on the web, or you can share to a workspace for assessment (much like submitting to a submission point).
5. VIEWING ASSESSMENT FEEDBACK
When your instructor releases marks and feedback on your Asset, you will receive an email notification. You can click on either of the links in the email to open the Asset in Pebble+ or log in to PebblePad and access your marks and feedback via your Asset store.
GRADUATING OR LEAVING GRIFFITH?
Students can continue to have access to their PebblePad work (including portfolios, reflections, images, etc.) after they leave Griffith. To do this, you need to create an "Alumni" account - this is a new free account with PebblePad where you access a copy of your assets. Please note that you need to create this Alumni account before your Griffith account is deactivated. Remember to create your new account when you are preparing to leave Griffith.
