Available recognition and reward opportunities
Griffith’s Higher Education Academy fellowships offer professional recognition for your commitment to teaching and to enhancing students’ learning experiences and outcomes. HEA Fellowships are internationally recognised and are available to academic and professional staff
Group Learning and Teaching Citations
Group Learning and Teaching Citations (GLTC) are awarded by each Academic Group to recognise and reward teachers, teaching teams, professional staff and programs for their contributions to student learning. GLTC are awarded on the basis of a competitive application process undertaken within each Academic Group.
Griffith Awards for Excellence in Teaching
Griffith Awards for Excellence in Teaching (GAET) are awarded by the University to recognise and reward teachers, teaching teams, professional staff and programs for their contributions to student learning. GAET are awarded on the basis of a University-wide competitive application process.
Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor Commendations
Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor Commendations are awarded to staff members who have achieved outstanding SETs for their courses. Staff members must have evaluations with a mean of greater than 4.8 for all items, a minimum response rate of 40%, and a minimum class size of 25 for undergraduate courses and 15 for postgraduate courses.

The Griffith Learning and Teaching Academy is a new institutional initiative designed to recognise exemplary learning and teaching practice and enhance the profile of learning and teaching at our University.
Griffith Grants for Learning and Teaching
The Griffith Grants for Learning and Teaching schemes aim to advance the University’s priorities in learning and teaching and support the development and dissemination of innovative practice.
