About this workshop
The Program Director has a critical leadership role in learning and teaching innovation within the University. The Program Director is responsible for assuring the quality of the University's programs and in achieving the University’s strategic performance expectations for learning and teaching.
This orientation workshop is designed for new, early career and experienced Program Directors wishing to explore the scope of the Program Director role responsibilities as outlined in the new Program Director role statement, including:
- leading the program
- quality assurance and quality enhancement of programs
- engaging with the industry / profession
- leading and facilitating the teaching team
- student administration and progression.
This workshop will enable you to network with experienced Program Directors, provide you with strategies for effective program leadership and identify resources, processes and policies that support your role.
