Foundations of University Teaching

This two day workshop focuses on practical knowledge to help you settle into your teaching role and is designed to support you in becoming an intentional, effective educator of student learning.
Course Convenors' Orientation
Course number: G09001
This interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to network with experienced Course Convenors, discuss strategies for effective course leadership and explore resources, processes and policies that support your role.
Program Directors' Orientation
Course number: G08001
This workshop will enable you to network with experienced Program Directors, provide you with strategies for effective program leadership and identify resources, processes and policies that support your role.

Staff can enrol directly in workshops using self service in the staff portal. Log into the Staff portal > Key Services > My Staff Page > Training and Online Resources > Face2Face Training > Search by Course Number. Enter the Course Number related to the workshop.
Check your enrolment status at any time by viewing your personal Training Summary page. Log into the Staff portal > Key Services > My Staff Page > Training and Online Resources > My Training Summary.
