Wednesday 9 October 9.00am – 2.00pm
The Griffith Learning and Teaching Academy (GLTA) is hosting the Leadership of Learning Symposium on Wednesday 9th October 2019, as part of the 2019 Celebrating Learning and Teaching calendar.
The event will provide an opportunity for Griffith educators to come together for facilitated discussions and networking with peers. It will provide an opportunity for you to contribute to discussions that will drive the Griffith Learning and Teaching Academy’s direction in learning and teaching into the future. The day will begin with a Group Chapter Workshop session with table-based discussions led by Group Chapter members.
Three key learning and teaching themes will be discussed:
- Active, authentic and collaborative assessment
- Scholarship of Learning and Teaching
- Designing and teaching for student well-being
The plenary session will invite attendees to map out next steps on these themes as individuals, and collectively as a group.
Following the Workshop session, we are excited to announce that Professor Dominique Parrish, Pro Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching), Macquarie University, will present a keynote, with a leadership of learning and teaching focus.
