Queensland College of Art student Iida from Finland talks about life as a student at Griffith University’s South Bank campus.
“I’m Iida from Finland. This semester gave me much more experience to express myself. The teaching here is totally different. You get a different perspective. People are really helpful. They are really friendly here. Open, outgoing. You can develop your own style and get more experience actually doing that what you really want to do. This campus is awesome. There’s beaches. It’s near the city. You can just walk across the bridge and you are in the middle of the city. There’s a library that is really good. There’s the Webb Centre. There’s this shop where you can buy paints a stuff like that for arts students. Then there’s all the painting studios and if you do sculpture there’s really good facilities to do that, so it’s a good campus I think.”
