International student Griffith College Diploma to Degree scholarship – Japan and Korea
For: The highest achieving students from Japan and Korea studying a Griffith College diploma prior to articulating into a Griffith University degree program.
Available to: Commencing undergraduate students in Trimester 3 2018, Trimester 1, 2 and 3 2019. See 'Eligibility' for more information.
Level of study: Undergraduate.
Citizenship: Citizens of Japan or Korea, or holder of a Permanent Resident visa from these countries.
Award value and benefits: Following completion of a Griffith College diploma, scholarship covers 10 % of tuition fees in the first two trimesters of bachelor degree study. Students must be enrolled full-time to receive the tuition fee reduction.
Duration: Two trimesters.
Programs of study: Undergraduate programs (excludes online, non-award, offshore delivered programs, and students that defer commencement to 2020).

- Be a citizen or permanent resident of Japan or Korea, and have satisfied all appropriate entry requirements to receive a combined diploma and bachelor degree offer, including results of previous study and English language proficiency, as per Griffith College and Griffith University's entry requirements.
- Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.0 on a 7.0 scale and be ranked in the highest achieving graduating students at the completion of Griffith College diploma studies.
- At the completion of diploma studies, be commencing (not existing) and enrolling as a full-time student in an undergraduate bachelor degree in Trimester 3 2018, Trimester 1, 2 or 3 2019 at Griffith University.
Griffith College will identify and inform students that they may be eligible for this scholarship at the time of assessment for entry into Griffith College diploma programs packaged with a bachelor degree (conditions under 'Eligibility' apply).
After the completion of diploma studies, the highest achieving students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.0 or above will be identified and will be issued with a scholarship offer letter from Griffith International. Please note that no application is required.
Following the completion of diploma studies, the scholarship covers 10 % of tuition fees that will be deducted from undergraduate degree tuition fees only. Two deductions of 10 % of tuition fees will be applied in the first trimester and second trimester of the program. It will be applied by the Griffith University census date of each relevant trimester of the program.
Please note that no application is required. Griffith International will identify the highest achieving graduating diploma students at the time of articulation into their Griffith University degree program and they will be issued with a formal Scholarship Offer Letter.
Students will also be given a date by which to accept the scholarship. Scholarship offers not accepted by the specified date will be withdrawn. Please note that students need accept both their program offer and scholarship offer to secure a scholarship place.
