Reduced Deposit for Post 9/11 GI Bill
Students receiving the Post 9/11 GI Bill can pay a reduced deposit when accepting their letter of offer for admissions to Griffith University. Instead of having to pay the full tuition deposit listed on the offer letter, you can be approved to pay a reduced deposit of $500 AUD towards tuition and the full amount for your visa length overseas student health cover. Paying this amount will allow you to receive your Confirmation of Enrolment needed to obtain your student visa.
To be approved for a reduced deposit you will need to supply a copy of your "Certificate of Eligibility" to the Griffith University Financial Aid office at email@example.com Once the certificate is checked, the International Admissions Office will be sent an email advising them of your eligibility to pay a reduced deposit to accept your place at Griffith University. You will be copied into this email for your records of the approved reduced deposit.
Chapter 30 and 1606 students are required to verify their monthly enrolment beginning on the last day of the current month.
If your status is full-time, state you are enrolled for 12 credits. You have two methods of doing this: Web Automated Verification of Enrolment or through the Interactive Voice Response or by calling 0011 1 877 823 2378.
