Undergraduate degrees

A bachelor degree is the main type of undergraduate university qualification. Bachelor degrees are usually between three and four years long.

Postgraduate degrees

If you already have a bachelor degree, or extensive professional experience, you may wish to enhance your professional skills or gain an in-depth understanding of a specific knowledge area with a postgraduate degree.

We offer a generous range of scholarships to support international students coming to study in our undergraduate, postgraduate, research and pathway programs. We also offer scholarships to encourage and support family members of Griffith students and alumni.

Credit for prior learning

You may be able to gain credit toward your Griffith studies for prior learning undertaken in your home country or in Australia, including the International Baccalaureate (IB).

Key dates

Monday 27 February – Saturday 17 June

Trimester 1

From 2017, we’ll be teaching across three trimesters, rather than two semesters, with our first trimester starting on Monday 27 February. Trimester 1 exams conclude on Saturday 17 June.

Monday 3 July – Saturday 14 October

Trimester 2

Our second teaching trimester for 2017 runs from Monday 3 July to Friday 22 September. Trimester 2 exams conclude on Saturday 14 October

Monday 30 October – Saturday 17 February

Trimester 3

Our third teaching trimester runs from Monday 30 October 2016 to Friday 2 February 2018. Trimester 3 exams conclude on Saturday 17 February 2018.
