To help make your arrival in Australia as easy as possible, we have a free airport collection service for all new students. Students arriving at Brisbane or Gold Coast airports will be met by a Griffith representative and taken to their pre-arranged accommodation.
Getting to Griffith
You can travel to our campuses by light rail tram, bus, train and car.
Nathan and Mt Gravatt campuses
The inter-campus bus (between Nathan and Mt Gravatt campuses) is a free service for students, staff and clients of the University. It operates from Monday to Friday, departing Nathan on the hour and half hour, and quarter past and quarter to the hour from Mt Gravatt.
Nathan and Gold Coast campuses
The inter-campus bus (between Nathan and Gold Coast campuses) operates during trimesters only (including exam periods) from Monday to Friday. Tickets are $5.00 for students.
Public transport is managed by TransLink.
The cheapest and easiest way to use light rail, bus and train services is to use a go card - a rechargeable travel card that gives users discounted fares.
To drive in Queensland you will need either an International or a Queensland Driver Licence.
Cycling is a cheap and easy way to get around and there are numerous bike tracks both on campus and throughout the local area.
