In her current role as Senior Manager, Learning and Teaching, Sarah has responsibility for all course and program curriculum development for Griffith English Language Institute, in both onshore and offshore programs. Sarah’s responsibilities include oversight of the award-winning university-wide Griffith English Language Enhancement Strategy for international students and convening Griffith Bridging English.
She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of innovative pedagogies and quality assurance practices across the Institute for face-to-face, blended, fully online and virtual learning programs. She has worked as a secondary school teacher, English Language teacher, teacher trainer, IELTS examiner, academic manager and eLearning specialist.
Sarah has sought to make a significant contribution to raising the standards of professional practice at an individual, institutional and industry level for English language teachers through her involvement with English Australia’s national Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Framework.
