Harmony Day is celebrated nationally on 21 March each year. Whilst its origins relate to the UN sponsored International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the concept of "harmony" extends to inclusion more broadly – "everybody belongs" – from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. At Griffith we celebrate Harmony Week from 17 – 21 March 2014 so we can conduct activities across a longer period, and across all our campuses.
Information Services participates in the University wide Harmony Week. Our aim for 2014 is to co-ordinate Information Services activities within the wider program and to use our existing channels to promote the event.
