Facilitation services for your organisation
The Work and Organisational Resilience Centre (WORC) at Griffith University offers a range of facilitation and presentation services to enhance your organisation
Organisational facilitation that works
Independent organisational facilitation
Sometimes it is better to have an independent person facilitate a team or group discussion to ensure that everybody’s view is heard, and that the outcomes are unbiased. An independent facilitator offers the opportunity for teams or groups to engage in activities such as team building or strategic planning with an external facilitator guiding the discussion.
Alternatively, enhancing your own facilitation and presentation skills assists in building confidence when doing public speaking.
How does WORC facilitation work?
The WORC team uses a group of post-graduate qualified psychology interns who act as independent facilitators in your organisation. They will ensure your next team meeting is a collaborative and interactive discussion, in which the whole team actively participates.
Alternatively, WORC interns are also able to upskill individuals in the critical skills required in areas such as public speaking or working with teams.
Facilitation activities have been shown to have range of positive influences and outcomes including:
• Happy and more productive employees
How the Facilitation Skills program can help
Your services will be delivered by fully and provisionally registered psychologists enrolled in Organisational Psychology postgraduate programs at Griffith University as workplace integrated learning activities. All interns receive ongoing comprehensive supervision while undertaking the activities and will be line-managed by the WORC Management Consultant. This enables us to keep our costs reasonable, while delivering professional services to your organisation.
