Griffith Health Centre (G40)
A unique Health and Knowledge Precinct has developed around our Gold Coast campus, with the opening of the $150 million Griffith Health Centre and the $1.76 billion Gold Coast University Hospital. The co-location of Griffith University and the Gold Coast University Hospital and their new state-of-the-art facilities significantly extends the range of health and medical services on the Gold Coast; facilities that create an ideal hands-on environment for the clinical training of doctors, nurses and future health professionals.
All Griffith Health programs on the Gold Coast are together on the one campus with the schools of medicine, dentistry and oral health, and psychology now located under the one roof.
The Griffith Health Clinics are located in the Griffith Health Centre building, and provide an interface where research and education come together to produce a tangible benefit for our communities. The following clinics are located here:

School of Dentistry and Oral Health
The School of Dentistry and Oral Health is located in the Griffith Health Centre, and is responsible for the operations of the Dental Clinic, as well as the provision of teaching and supervision to our students. Many academics within the School undertake private practice within our Professional Clinic.
The School of Dentistry and Oral Health is one of the most competitive schools to get into dentistry in Australia. Our degrees are fully accredited by the Australian Dental Council, and our dentistry program was recently re-accredited. We are committed to becoming a world leader in dental education and research. We are proud of providing an excellent curriculum based on evidence-based knowledge and outstanding communication and technical skills. In this way we can ensure that we are producing a new generation of dental professionals who excel in their patient care and community engagement.
