Our speech pathologist assesses and treats a wide range of speech and language disorders in children from 18 months to 18 years. They work closely with parents in establishing and prioritising the needs of their child and can help people across a wide range of concerns including early language developmental delays, late talkers, speech sound errors, early stutterers, literacy difficulties, poor social communication, learning disabilities, autism, English as a second language and more.

Early language development

We offer the latest evidence-based interventions for young children who are late talkers or developmentally delayed. Our speech pathologist works with parents and carers to further support their child’s communication development at home and can also work with schools to support young children in their learning.

Improve social communication

We help children and adolescents who have difficulty using and understanding inferencing, figurative language, social conventions, linguistic politeness, social rules and using language for different purposes.

Telehealth appointment

Telehealth consultations allow you to receive the same level of diagnosis, treatment and prevention aspects that you'd receive with face-to-face consultations, over the internet, in the convenience of your own home.

Our experienced speech pathologist can help treat and manage a wide range of communication, speech and language difficulties. Our clinic is open to the public and no referrals are required.

Our speech pathologist can help you with:

  • speech, language and communication
  • stuttering or fluency issues
  • literacy skills
  • voice disorders
  • language development
  • childhood apraxia of speech
  • speech sounds errors.

Initial consultation

During your initial consultation, our speech pathologist will ask a series of questions to gain an understanding of your child’s current communication skills. We will also assess your child’s speech and language ability to establish their level of development in relation to their peers. Full assessment may take up to three sessions depending on the complexity of presentation.

Further sessions

Upon completion of a full background case history and in-session assessment/s, the speech pathologist will discuss the results with you and collaborate to establish the initial goals you want to set for your child. Together you will discuss the plan for intervention and the exercises that are required to be completed at home between therapy sessions.
