Guided by the concepts and methods of systems-thinking social marketing, Renata is tackling ‘wicked’ problems, such as eating behaviours and weight management.

Renata's vision

While social marketing is grounded on set theoretical and practical tenets, it draws on multiple knowledge areas to develop, test, and evaluate new ways of bringing about positive change on some very difficult issues.

Her current project

Renata's is currently focussed on PhD research which applies the concepts and methods of systems-thinking social marketing to develop, implement, and evaluate interventions to promote the establishment of healthy eating behaviours in Australian Defence Force personnel (ADF).

My inspiration comes from people. I believe that everyone has a unique story and this is what makes social research both challenging and rewarding.
