Morgan has an interest in health and behaviour change and is undertaking a PhD at Social Marketing @ Griffith. She aspires to use social marketing to make a meaningful and sustainable impact on society.
With experience in services and non-profit marketing, as well as a background in biomedical science, Morgan is passionate about creating healthy lifestyle behaviour change to prevent and manage chronic disease.
Her current project
Morgan is currently investigating the difference in social determinants of healthy lifestyle behaviours between people living in urban and regional/rural areas. Findings from her PhD will guide initiatives to achieve and support behaviour change in people at risk of developing chronic diseases.
Morgan was also involved in the My Health for Life project. This project aims to complete 10,000 Queenslanders over a three-year-period in a lifestyle behaviour change program, which aims to reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases.
