Mohammad's mission
Will we be needed in the long term? Not if Mohammad can help it.
Mohammad is working to establish a model that explains long-term behavioural change. He aims to ensure this change can be sustained without interventions.
His current project
Sexual health (Queensland): In partnership with Enhance Research this project has captured sexual health knowledge, attitudes, norms, behaviours and sexual health service experiences of more than 1,400 15 to 29-year-old Queenslanders. This project is informing Queensland Health planning and future investments to reduce STIs in Queensland.
Other projects
Hand washing (Malawi): Funded by UNICEF Malawi Population Services International (PSI) is working to increase handwashing. The Social Marketing team provided evaluation advice, data analysis and project reporting.
Qualitative research methods in Social Marketing: Together with Dr Abi Badejo, Dr Bo Pang and A/Prof Krzysztof Kubacki, Mohammad Kadir is systematically reviewing qualitative research methods used in social marketing formative and evaluation studies. The results of this review will inform academics and practitioners about what regions and topics are lacking social marketing practice.
