Senator Peter Whish-Wilson

Senator Peter Whish-Wilson is a senator for Tasmania and the Australian Greens spokesperson for waste and recycling. Peter has chaired Senate inquiries – Toxic Tide (2015), Never Waste a Crisis (2018) – and campaigned against plastic pollution. He currently has a Private Member’s Bill in the Senate to mandate recycling targets and ban some single-use plastics.
