Dr Outi Donovan is a Lecturer in International Relations in the School of Government and International Relations. Outi’s research interests are in civil conflict and post-conflict environments. Her recent research has examined the politics of gender in conflict-affected societies, with particular focus on post-Gaddafi Libya. Her research has been published in Cooperation and Conflict and Global Governance, among other journals and she is the author of the book ‘The Contentious Politics of Statebuilding: Strategies and Dynamics’ (Routledge, 2017).
