Dr Harsha Sarvaiya is the Equity Champion in the Department of Business Strategy and Innovation. Harsha has completed a PhD in Management from the School of Management, Massey University, New Zealand. She was awarded the competitive Massey University Doctoral Scholarship. Her research critically engages with CSR from a people (employees) perspective and examines the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and human resource management of large New Zealand organisations.
Harsha is a member of the CSR and sustainability research group of Massey University and involved in various research projects. Her research interests continue to revolve around CSR, sustainability, business ethics and internationalisation. She is currently exploring the implications of CSR for employees in Indian organisations and also working on the community engagement issues in Hunter Valley region and has published her work in international academic journals and presented her research findings at various international conferences.
Harsha worked as a sessional tutor and research associate at the Department of Business Strategy and Innovation, Griffith University, Nathan. Previously, she worked as a tutor at Massey University. She also taught for several years at Saurashtra University, India.
