Dr Peter Ross is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Strategy and Innovation within the Griffith Business School where he teaches across a range of courses in the field of international management, and is a member of the Griffith Asia Institute.
Dr Ross has conducted extensive research into the information and communication technology (ICT) sectors of Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand and Eastern Europe. He has further conducted widespread research into the impacts of Cloud Computing on entrepreneurship, organisational strategies and ICT worker management. More recently he has been conducting research on emerging work practices, including coworking centres and technologically-mediated workplace collaborative strategies. and data driven management (i.e. big data). He is further researching the offshoring practices of Australian SMEs in the Philippines.
Peter’s research expertise includes telecommunications privatisation and deregulation; information and communication technology workers; international human resource management; comparative employment relations; and international business ethics.
Peter is widely published in his area of expertise with over 60 publications and 4 research grants relating to information technology and employment relations.
