Dr Anne Cullen is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Strategy and Innovation, She completed an undergraduate degree in Asian Studies and postgraduate degrees in International Relations and Political Science. Anne's primary interest has been in Indonesian politics. Her engagement with Asia has seen her take up appointments in many Asian nations including Vietnam and Indonesia.
Prior to her academic career, Anne was the Managing Director of a successful national chain of retail outlets, which initially led to an abiding interest in Asia. Her research interests include Asian politics and the forestry politics of Indonesia during the Suharto period of political leadership. She has also research and published on the need to internationalize of university curricula with international colleagues.
Anne was also commissioned by Oxford University Press to develop Australasian case-study textbooks. She currently teaches Asian Studies, and is developing regional specific research interests.
