Academic dress

You'll be robed in a black gown, hood and mortarboard (bonnet for doctoral graduates) at your ceremony. A white or red trim will denote the level of your award.

We recommend wearing smart casual attire, keeping in mind your academic dress will cover most of your outfit. Comfortable shoes are also encouraged.

Ordering and collecting

Academic dress is ordered and paid for when you register to attend your ceremony.

You'll collect your academic dress after you have checked-in on the day of your ceremony; it won't be available before the day.
