Vision for success
Bachelor of Psychology, Master of Organisational Psychology
Since graduating from Griffith with a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master in Organisational Psychology, Captain Sam James has been deployed to Afghanistan where he acted as a key support service for the Australian helicopter units.
Mr James says his time at Griffith University was invaluable and led him to his dream job as an aviation psychologist with the Australian Army, where he works with the most senior military physiologist in the country.
“My experience during my degree time at Griffith, both undergrad and postgrad was really rewarding,” he says.
“I was able to do psychophysiology, brain based work, anatomy work, whilst also learning how to work one to one with people and also work within organisations.
“I found that as a degree it let me specialise in the areas I wanted to and also become a very capable practitioner in all the other areas.”
