Freshwater Ecosystems
Research
Dr Fen Guo is interested in understanding how changes in land use and water quality influence the availability of high-quality sources of food for freshwater animals.
While studying a PhD at Griffith, Dr Guo’s study literature review was published in a top freshwater journal and is a well-cited perspective article. She also produced several high-quality papers.
After completing her PhD in 2016, Dr Guo worked as a postdoctoral at the WasserCluster, Austria – a freshwater facility co-hosted by the three universities in Vienna. She has since returned to China and aims to maintain these collaborations bringing together ecology, nutritional quality, biochemistry and animal physiology.
As an early career researcher, Dr Guo has published 26 papers with 404 citations.
