Climate Change Health Expert
An outstanding scientist, Professor Huang completed a Master of Public Health at Griffith University in 2009. He has since gone onto contribute to public health and climate change research in Australia, China, Asia-Pacific and the world.
Professor Huang has a large number of publications in top scientific journals, won 28 national and international grants and is chair of the Health Policy and Management Department at Sun Yat-sen University.
While serving on influential international and national scientific committees, he continues to
work with Australian colleagues from the Centre for Environment and Population Health
(CEPH), Griffith University to help vulnerable regional countries address climate risks.
Professor Huang leads a multi-national research team working with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to manage and minimise the increasing climate related threats to human health and societies.
