Anthony Lister is a Brisbane-born street artist, painter and installation artist, who has made a global impact with his provocative work, which parodies real life and pop culture.
After graduating from the QCA, he moved to New York in 2002 and has since been based between the United States and Sydney.
Lister has been a pioneering force in the development of street art in Australia, his large-scale works both lauded and, at times, controversial.
His paintings and installations draw from his surroundings, with political and social messages exploring the relationship between good and evil and right and wrong.
Lister has held numerous solo exhibitions across the United States, Europe and Australia, has been featured in a number of high-profile group exhibitions, and has won numerous awards.
He's been named one of Australia's most collectable artists, with high-profile purchasers of his work including actors Geoffrey Rush and Hugh Jackman, and singer Pink.
