For too many people, financial hardship and personal disadvantage can seem immovable barriers in the way of a university education.
I invite you to join with me in bringing down some of those barriers through making a gift to the 2017 Annual Appeal.
This year 50 Griffith Futures Scholarships were awarded to students in need. I encourage you to watch or read some of their stories featured here, and I am sure you will be impressed by their honesty, enthusiasm and dedication.
Their testimony also conveys how much every gift matters, and how your generosity makes a real difference to students. This is appreciated in more than financial terms alone. Supporting the Students’ Future Fund through the 2017 Annual Appeal represents a belief in, and commitment to, their future.
There are many more students we would like to help, which is why the University will match every donation made to the 2017 Annual Appeal – dollar for dollar. Griffith University is committed to providing students of today with access to the skills, knowledge and creativity to shape the world of tomorrow.
If you have already given to the 2017 Annual Appeal, please accept my gratitude for your support. If not, I hope you can find a way to support students who need it most by donating to the 2017 Annual Appeal.
