Your support helps students who are experiencing personal or financial hardship
The Students' Future Fund helps students who excel at their studies but are also experiencing financial or personal hardship. Donations help Griffith University provide scholarships for students in need.
In 2017, of the hundreds of students who applied for support from the Students’ Future Fund, only 73 scholarships were available. There are many more students who need help.
A $5,000 scholarship can provide vital relief for students struggling to pay for the essentials of university and daily life, including textbooks, computer equipment, food and rent.
This support allows students to fully focus on their education. It can mean the difference between a student completing their course or deferring, or even halting their studies.
To be eligible for a scholarship, students need to be achieving a high grade point average of at least 5.0 while also demonstrating financial or personal hardship.
Every donation, regardless of its size, is greatly appreciated and, when combined with gifts from others, changes students’ lives.
Griffith University has committed to matching every dollar raised in the Annual Appeal and will donate the total to the Students’ Future Fund.
Meanwhile, an annual pledge ensures your continued support for the Annual Appeal for a long as you please, with 100% of your donation going directly to students.
Staff members can offer their support through the Staff Giving Program.
