Dr Juliet Rogers is a lecturer in law and criminology at Melbourne University and completed her PhD at the Melbourne Law School. Her PhD was on Fantasies of Female Circumcision: Flesh, Law and Freedom Through Psychoanalysis.
Juliet has completed a Bachelor of Arts; Honours in Legal Studies and a Masters in Education at La Trobe University. She holds a Certificate in Psychodynamic Therapy and Consulting from Swinburne University. Her research areas include terrorism, torture and human rights, trauma and international law, psychoanalytic theory and practice and democracy and political subjectivity.
