About the conference
The theme for this conference is Visibility: How to stand out from the crowd. This conference focuses on HDR careers and pathways and aims to inform candidates on how to stand out from the crowd through a range of presentations, workshops and discussions. Candidates will improve their networking, employment-seeking skills and identify methods to increase the visibility and impact of their research.
The aims of the conference are:
- To promote the profile of Griffith Higher Degree Researchers.
- To continue to grow and strengthen the Griffith HDR community.
- To examine the broader skills HDRs are developing, in the context of their future employment.
- To identify potential avenues to increase research visibility.
- To highlight HDR engagement with external partners.
The conference is fully catered with morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch to be provided as part of the event as well as networking drinks to be hosted after the wrap up of the official proceedings. For more information about the event schedule, visit the HDR Conference Program page.

As places are limited, pre-confirmation HDR candidates may register via the Register Now link above for a place on the HDR Conference wait list and will be contacted if availability exists after registrations have closed.
If you register as a delegate but do not attend the conference, you may be charged a non-attendance fee to recoup the cost of your catering, travel, and other expenses.
